1.All reservations using VIP Vouchers are subject to allocation availability & general room availability & accepted at the discretion of each property. Use of a VIP Voucher is subject to each property's rate & reservation terms & conditions.
2.The VIP rates listed for Hightide Resort Partners in this booklet or on the website are only available with the use of a voucher. The voucher must be surrendered prior to check-in or your reservation may not be honoured.
3.Generally you will be required to pay a reservation confirmation deposit. Sometimes this deposit will be non-refundable. Any deposit amount paid is deducted from the "VIP" rate as detailed in this Guide or on the Hightide website. The resulting balance payable will generally be due in full 14 days prior to arrival or at the time of check-in. Always confirm deposit & final payment details at the time of booking.
4.All rates, descriptions, terms & conditions are supplied to Hightide Holidays by each property & may be subject to change without notice. Hightide Holidays cannot take responsibility for changes beyond our control.
5.Star ratings are as supplied by the property and are attributed by a third party, the AAA or a self rating. Details of how these ratings are judged are available on our website at: www.hightide.com.au/questions.php or directly from AAA.
6.VIP Vouchers may also be redeemed through Hightide's Bonus Resort Program. This Program allows you access to a wider range of resort specials and opportunities including flat percentage discounts offered by Hightide Partner groups such as Apollo Campervans, Captain Cook Cruises, Stella and TasVillas. Length of stay, terms and conditions may vary depending on the nature of the promotion. These promotions will change regularly so check our website (www.hightide.com.au) or contact the Holiday Helpline for new specials.
7.Special offers and partnerships are offered as a value-add to the Hightide VIP Membership and may be altered or removed from the program at any time.
8.VIP Vouchers are fully transferable. VIP Vouchers are non-refundable if lost or unused, but may be replaced for a small administration fee.
9.Hightide partners with resorts known for the quality of their service and facilities, however does not own the resorts. Problems with the service or facilities while staying at the resort should be directed to resort management. Hightide is happy to hear quality feedback about our partners.
10.Hightide Holidays makes every effort to ensure that all details are correct at time of printing. However, Hightide Holidays reserves the right to alter them at any time without notification. The most up to date information will be found on our website.
11.As a Hightide VIP Member you will receive a customer service call every 6 months or so. This will occur even should you be listed on the Do Not Call register. Should you not wish to be contact via telephone by us in the future please let us know and we will cease this service immediately.
12.Refunds - We take great care in training our Holiday Consultants to ensure they correctly and honestly describe the products of Hightide Holidays. It is extremely important to us that we present this information to you correctly and that we do not attempt to pressure you into making any decision.
We do not normally give refunds if you simply change your mind. You can apply for a refund where the goods are faulty, wrongly described or do not do what they are supposed to. A $30 administration fee may apply where a refund is granted for reasons other than those listed above.


The following booking and amendment policies apply as of Monday 26 October 2009.
 
BOOKING CANCELLATION POLICY AND FEES
Hightide booking and cancellation policies are based on the policies of the resorts we work with.
 For any resort booking cancellations made by Hightide Holidays (except for Choice Hotels of Best Western Motels):
  • you will lose your $100 deposit if booking is cancelled outside of 14 days of arrival
  • you will lose half of your full amount if ooking is cancelled inside 14 to 7 days of arrival
  • you can lose all the full amount if you cancel within 7 to 4 days of arrival
  • you will lose the full amount if cancelled within 4 days of arrival
  •  No deposit is required for Choice Hotels or Best WEstern Motel bookings, however a credit card is required to secure the booking and if this booking is cancelled at anytime, a cancellation fee of $20 applies.
      
    BOOKING AMENDMENT POLICY AND FEES
     Amendments can be very time consuming.
     For any resort booking amendments outside of 14 days of arrival an amendment fee of $15 applies.
     For any resort booking amendment inside of 14 days of arrival and amendment fee of $25 applies.
     An amendment may include:
  • change of dates
  • change of resort
  • change of resort type
  •  Any change to a booking will incurr the amendment fee
